The Leader in charge of the Goshen Household Cherubim and Seraphim Church, Pastor Abayomi Akande, has joined voices with the #ENDSARS protesters, citing the protest as the beginning of the restoration of Nigeria’s greatness.
The cleric made the assertion on Sunday while in a chat with Adura International, he disclosed that the ministry accorded unalloyed support for the struggle, which he described as one all out to birth a renewed hope for new possibilities in Nigeria.
Pastor Akande said: “I am in full support of our youths and I’m seriously praying for God’s protection as they move on, on this struggle .
This is just the beginning of the restoration of Nigeria greatness. #EndSars. Stop police brutality.
“We are joining our voices with the youth all in search of a better country where life is valued and justice prevails.
“I desire in my mind a Nigeria, where new dawn beckons a new day and new possibilities with renewed hope. I am immensely proud of the youth. #End SARS,” said Pastor Akande.
The man of God added that Nigeria’s problem was not bad leaders but the absence of one whom we could call a leader.
