Contractors handling the multi-billion naira Moses Orimolade University (MOU), Omu Aran, Kwara State project will deliver it by February, 2021.
The Supreme Head, Cherubim & Seraphim Unification Church of Nigeria, His Most Eminence, Prophet Dr. Solomon Adegboyega Alao, disclosed this during a chat with newsmen at the 95th anniversary thanksgiving of the church held on Saturday at Seraphim Land, Km 40, Lagos/Ibadan Expressway, Ogun State.
The statement by the Chief PRO of the church, Apostle Muyiwa Adeyemi, quoted the highly elated Supreme Head as saying with the completion of the project, the institution would be ready to start offering admission to students.
He was full of praises to the world-renowned Evangelist and Philanthropist, Rev Mother (Dr) Esther Abimbola Ajayi, for huge resources spent to make the dream a reality.
Baba Olori said, “I sincerely thank my mother, Rev Esther Abimbola Ajayi; her husband, Rev Dr Ademuyiwa Ajayi, for sponsoring this project. I also thank all Seraphs for their prayers, contributions and support for the project. I plead with them to make N12,000 yearly contribution to the university a must.
Baba Alao also thanked the CA & PC led by Apostle Ajose and all members of the Ecclesiastical Council for making the 95th anniversary a success despite the fact that it was celebrated according to the guidelines to curtail the spread of COVID-19.
He said, “Let me say that the journey of the church started in 1916 but it was christened in 1925. So what we celebrated was the Christening of the church. The church is growing and we thank God for both the spiritual and physical development.
“We can see the transformation of Seraphim land at Maba and beautiful structures that dotted the landscape. As we are speaking, work is going on at our university site in Omu Aran to the glory of God. I am also pleased with the spiritual growth of all our organs and I pray God to continue to bless His church.
Baba Olori, however, advised all Seraphs not to allow any divisive tendency because Satan is not happy with the love, unity and progress being recorded in the church.
Prophet Alao also advised the government to note that Nigeria is a secular state especially in handling CAMA as it affects religious organisations, noting that government had no business interfering with how individuals decided to worship their God.
He condemned the death sentence passed on the Kano singer, Sharif Yahaya Sharifai. and urged President Muhammadu Buhari to intervene in the matter. He said, “If the Kano government goes ahead to execute the man, it will send wrong signals to the international community and people of a different religion in the country.
The head of C & S worldwide urged all the members of the church to support the government and pray for the President and state governors to govern the country with the fear of God and improve on the welfare of the masses.
He said very soon all Nigerians would have a national thanksgiving service to celebrate the end of coronavirus pandemic.
