The Supreme Head of the Cherubim and Seraphim Unification Church, worldwide, His Most Eminence, (Dr), Prophet Adegboyega Alao Jpil, says new dawn has come in the fold, as Seraphs all over the world are set to possess their possessions.
According to him, the developmental strides that abound in the fold is just a tip of the iceberg, as the best has yet to come.
He encouraged Seraphs to be steadfast and hold on to the vision of the founding fathers of the church.
The clergyman, while speaking against the backdrop of those tainting the image of the church, said not all those wearing the white garment were seraphs. He also said people initially saw seraphs that went into trance as something else adding that the impression had since changed.
In his sermon titled: “Fear destroys faith” with text taken from Matthew 14:14-27, Prophet Alao noted that Jesus was in charge of all situations even in the face of limitation.
He said Jesus is alive to help his people hence the need not to entertain fear.
“He knows what you are passing through and he will see you through. There is always a test of faith, what you are passing through maybe a test of faith. Fear destroys faith; so never allow fear to overcome your faith in whatever circumstances. When your faith faints, call it to order and success shall be yours,” he said.
Alao also urged seraphs to be obedient to God’s instructions.
The 94th anniversary of the Cherubim and Seraphim Church was greatly celebrated in a gracious atmosphere of the newly build pavilion at the Seraphim Land, Maba, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
Members of the constituent churches of the C&S Unification Church and their spiritual heads were also in attendance.
The crowd was moved with song ministration by Evangelist Dr Bola Aree and Lekan Remilekun Amos with his zionite voice.
In her address, Rev Mother Esther Abimbola Ajayi of the Love of Christ Generation Church, London, the United Kingdom, said white garment churches were no longer being relegated, adding the church was now a city on the hill.
According to her, the white garment-wearing churches are distinguished and special.
This was as she urged Seraphs to wear their garments with pride and identify with their church anywhere.
A book written in her honour and titled: ‘The Valiant Woman’ was also launched in the course of the programme.
The book was written by the National President of the C&S Youth Fellowship, Bro Emmanuel Ayegbusi, as it was unveiled by Reverend Ademuyiwa Ajayi.
The climax of the celebration was the recitation of Psalm 119:1-176 (The longest passage of the holy bible) by Tunmise Adeyemi, who amazed the congregation including the Baba Olori and the church’s legal adviser as they gave her cash gifts, while Rev Mother Esther Abimbola Ajayi instantly took over the full responsibility of Tunmise’s academics.
She also asked for a switch from her current school to the best private school.
Majority of the attendees were delighted to be part of this year’s anniversary including the newly built auditorium which sheltered all from the downpour.
